185th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (IRQ) – Report
The 185th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (IRQ) was held from 9th to 14th April 2025. It was organized by the Iraqi Chess Federation, Asian Chess Federation and West Asian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA/IO Pahlevanzadeh, Mehrdad (IRI), FIDE Lecturer, and the Local Assistant lecturer will be IA Asaad, Ismael Tawfeeq (IRQ).
The Language of the Seminar was English.
Eighteen (18) arbiters from seven (7) chess federations (IND, IRQ, FIN, PAK, RSA, TUN, and TUR) participated in the Seminar, and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
