FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Rhodes (GRE)

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 28/10/2022 to 30/10/2022 in Rhodes, by the Greece Chess Federation and Rhodes Chess Club “The Knight”, under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar will be the Rhodes Palace Hotel, Rhodes, Greece.
The Lecturer will be IA Nikolopoulos, Panagiotis (GRE), FIDE Lecturer .
The language of the Seminar will be English.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

10.00-14.00: Laws of Chess, Appendices
17.00- 21.00: Tournament Regulations, Tie break regulations, Arbiters’ titles
Saturday, 29 October:
10.00-12.00: System of Pairings, Swiss System
12.00-14.00: Fair Play Regulations
17.00-19.00: Players’ titles regulations
19.00-21.00: Ratings regulations
Sunday, 30 October:
09.00-10.00: Use of electronic clocks
10.00-11.00: Review, Questions
11.00-15.00: Examination test
