A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 31/08/2022 to 02/09/2022 in Saint Louis, by the USA Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar will be the AC Hotel St. Louis Central West End, 215 York Avenue, St Louis, Missouri, USA, 63108.

The Lecturer will be IA/IO Marghetis, Aris (CAN), FIDE Lecturer and the Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Hater, David (USA).

The language of the Seminar will be English.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

August 31^st:

9am-12pm: Arbiter Duties, Laws of Chess
1pm-5pm: Laws of Chess, Tournament Recommendations

September 1^st:

9am-12pm: Ratings and Player Titles, Systems of Games, Tiebreaks
1pm-5pm: Swiss System pairing rules

September 2^nd:

9am-12pm: Arbiter Titles, Electronic Clocks, Fair Play
1pm-5pm: exam
