A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 17/11/2023 to 21/11/2023 in Zhuhai, by the Zhuhai Chess Association and Chinese Chess Association, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer will be IA KK Chan (HKG), FIDE Lecturer, and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Liang, Zhihua (CHN).

The language of the Seminar will be English with translation into Chinese.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

19^th Nov Sunday 10:00-17:00

20^th Nov Monday 10:00-13:00 Exam from 15:00

The subjects will include:
a) Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz, etc), 6 hours;
b) Tournament Rules, 3 hours;
c) System of Games, tie breaks. 3 hours;
d) Swiss system and Pairing rules, 3 hours;
e) Regulations for the rating and the over‐the‐board titles, 3 hours;
f) Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters, 1 hour;
g) Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters 2 hour;

Total for 3 days = 21 hours
Exam 4 hours
