FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Sousse, Tunisia (September 2019) – Report
From 5th to 9th September 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Sousse (Tunisia) by the Chess Club Golden Square of the Tunisian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.The venue of the Seminar was Hotel L’Orient palace in Sousse.
The Lecturer was Omar Salama (ISL), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Akram Jemai (TUN).
The language of the Seminar was Arabic.
Nineteen (19) arbiters from ALG, IRQ, LBA and TUN participated in the Seminar and fourteen (14) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded titles and norms for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
