126th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (Asian Chess Federation) @ online

The 126th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 9/12/2022 to 11/12/2022 by the Asian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer will be IA/IO Abundo, Casto (PHI), FIDE Lecturer and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA/IO Alnuaimi, Ahmed M. (UAE).

The language of the Seminar will be English.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

Schedule:

09:00-15:00 daily Dubai time.

The subjects will include
a) Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz, etc), 6 hours;
b) Tournament Rules , 2 hours;
c) System of Games, tie breaks. 2 hours;
d) Swiss system and Pairing rules, 3 hours;
e) Regulations for the rating and the over‐the‐board titles, 3 hours;
f) Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters, 1 hour;
g) Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters 1 hour
h) Exam 4 hours

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 9/12/2022 to 11/12/2022 in Dublin, by the Irish Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar will be the Colaiste Eanna, Ballyboden, Co. Dublin, Ireland,

The Lecturer will be IA/IO McFarlane, Alex H (SCO), FIDE Lecturer .

The language of the Seminar will be English.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

Schedule:

Friday 7-10 pm, Saturday 9 am – 5 pm, Sunday 9 am – 5 pm

  7. g) FIDE Competition Rules and standards of chess equipment (1hr)
  8. h) Rating and over‐the‐board titles (2hr)
  9. i) Q & A Session
