
The 135th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 22/06/2023 to 26/06/2023 by the Asian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA/IO Abdulrahim, Mahdi (UAE), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar will be Arabic.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.
09:00-15:00 daily Dubai time.
The subjects will include
a) Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz, etc), 4 hours;
b) Tournament Rules , 2 hours;
c) System of Games, tie breaks. 2 hours;
d) Swiss system and Pairing rules, 2 hours;
e) Regulations for the rating and the over‐the‐board titles, 2 hours;
f) Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters, 1 hour;
g) Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters 1 hour; Exam 4 hours

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 16/07/2023 to 18/07/2023 in Korumdu, by the Kyrgyz Chess Union, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA Vardapetyan, Ashot (ARM), FIDE Lecturer, and the Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Umarbekov, Aziz (KGZ).
The language of the Seminar will be Russian.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

17th July, 14:00 – 17:00: Regulations for the titles of Arbiters, Rating and over‐the‐board titles
18th July, 09:00 – 12:00: System of games, tie breaks, Swiss system and pairing rules
18th July, 14:00 – 18:00: Exam
