Refreshing Course for Arbiters on Internet in English language
From 3 to 5 February 2015 a Refreshing Course for Arbiters in English language was organized on Internet by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission.
The following subjects were discussed:
(a) The changes of the Laws of Chess that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(b) The changes of FIDE Titles, Ratings Regulations and Swiss System regulations that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
(c) The Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters that have been approved in 2014 Sochi FIDE Presidential Board and are in effect.
The lecturer was IA Takis Nikolopoulos (GRE), FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer and Technical Organizer was IA Michail Prevenios (GRE).
The participation was free for all International and FIDE Arbiters.
Forty nine (49) Arbiters from twenty seven (27) Federations participated in the Course.
