NEW LAWS OF CHESS AND SWISS RULES To be in effect from 1 July 2017

After the approval by the 1st quarter FIDE Presidential Board of the New Laws of Chess and the New Swiss Rules to be in effect from 1 July 2017, the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission, in cooperation with the FIDE Rules Commission and the FIDE Systems of Pairings and Programs Commission, will organize two (2) lectures, in order to present to the Arbiters the new Laws of Chess and the new Swiss Rules that will be in effect from 1 July 2017.
The lectures will be held on Internet as follows:

(a) In English language, 2 May 2017, 18.00-22.00, Athens Time (GMT+3).

The Lecturer will be IA Takis Nikolopoulos (GRE), Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer and the Technical Organizer will be IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE), FIDE Lecturer.

(b) In Russian language, 17 May 2017, 13.00-17.00, Moscow Time (GMT+3).

The Lecturer will be IA Ashot Vardapetyan (ARM), Chairman of the FIDE Rules Commission and FIDE Lecturer and the Technical Organizer will be IA Mihail Prevenios (GRE), FIDE Lecturer.

The participation fee will be 15 Euros and must be paid until three (3) days before the day of the lecture, by using the following ways:
