FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Algiers, ALGERIA

seminar logoFrom 15 to 17 May 2017, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Algiers, Algeria, by the Algerian Chess Federation, in cooperation with the African Chess Confederation and under auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the offices of the FADE in Algiers.

The lecturer was IA Bechir Messaoudi (TUN), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Adnane Nesla (ALG) and IA Nasreddine Announ (ALG) .

The lectures and the exams were in Arabic language with translation in French and English.

Twenty four (24) Arbiters from Algeria participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
