FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Orlando, United States (August 2019) – Report
From 7th to 9th August 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Rosen Centre Hotel, in Orlando, Florida (USA) by the US Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.The Lecturer was IA Carol Jarecki (IVB), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA/IO Grant Oen (USA).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Twenty-one (21) arbiters from the USA, Poland and Sweden participated in the Seminar and twenty (20) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
