FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Saint Lucia (August 2019) – Report
From 22nd to 25th August 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Saint Lucia by the Saint Lucia Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE. This was the first-ever FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar held in Saint Lucia.The venue of the Seminar was the Rodney Bay in Saint Lucia.
The Lecturer was IA Aris Marghetis (CAN), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar was English.
Thirteen (13) arbiters from 3 federations (LCA, GUY, TTO) participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
