FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Izmir, Turkey (August 2019) – Report

From 22nd to 25th August 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Izmir (Turkey) by the Turkish Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was Konack Teacher House, Izmir.

The Lecturer was IA Karabay, Fahri (TUR), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer were IA Uctu, Ahmet (TUR) and IA Caliskan, Ismail (TUR).

The language of the Seminar was English.

Twenty-one (21) arbiters from Turkey Chess Federations participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
