ARB Training Programme – Advanced Session 05

If you were offered to know the FIDE Handbook by heart or get equipped to solve problems that may arise in tournaments, which one would you choose?

Knowing regulations is obviously a MUST for Arbiters. However, through the training programme, we consider that our role is also to emphasise some leadership traits and train our colleagues to seek solutions, rather than just study some official documents.

This is our mindset: build strong foundations and encourage Arbiters to take their own way to build their experience. Ask yourself questions, share experience from colleagues, always learn!
