FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Jeddah, SAUDI ARABIA

From 5 to 8 February 2013 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Jeddah, SAUDI ARABIA, by the Asian Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturers were IA Dr. Hesham Elgendy (EGY), FIDE Lecturer and IA Sultan Ali Al Taher (UAE), Member of the FIDE Technical Commission and FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in Arabic language.

11 Arbiters from Yemen, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and according to the article 3.10 of the regulations for the titles of Arbiters they will be awarded a norm or the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
