116th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (WOM) – Report

The 116th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (WOM) was held from 5th to 9th September 2022. It was organized by the Commission for Women’s Chess, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA/IO Salama, Omar (ISL), FIDE Lecturer and Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Kadimova, Ilaha (AZE).

The Language of the Seminar was English.

Twenty five (25) arbiters from fifteen (15) federations (ALG, CRC, CZE, ENG, IND, IRI, KEN, MEX, MGL, NEP, NOR, PER, TTO, TUN, and TUR) participated in the Seminar, and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
