129th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (WOM, Balkan, and ALB) – Report

The 129th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (WOM) was held from 10th to 12th March 2023. It was organized by the by the FIDE Commission for Women’s Chess, Balkan Chess Federation &Albanian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Nikolopoulos, Panagiotis (GRE), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant of Lecturer was IA Prevenios, Mihail (GRE), and Local Assistant of Lecturer was IA Lopang, Tshepiso (BOT).

The Language of the Seminar was English.

Twenty-three (23) arbiters from nineteen (19) federations (ALB, BOT, BUL, GRE, ISR, KEN, KOS, MAW, MEX, MKD, MNE, PAK, PER, POL, ROU, SLO, SRB, TUR, and UAE) participated in the Seminar, and twenty one (21) participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
