FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Melaka (MAS) – Report
From 20th to 23rd February 2024, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Melaka, by the Malaysian Chess Federation and Persatuan Catur Melaka, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Bunawan, Bong (INA), FIDE Lecturer, and Local Assistant Lecturer was FA Ariff, Syawal Aqmar Shahrir (MAS).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Fifteen (15) arbiters from two MAS federation participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
