163rd Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (CCA) – Report

The 163rd Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar (Confederation of Chess for Americas – CCA) was held from 30th August to 1st September 2024. It was organized by the Confederation of Chess for Americas, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Marghetis, Aris (CAN), FIDE Lecturer, and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Munoz Solis, Carolina (CRC) and the Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Miller, Donald (JAM).

The Language of the Seminar was English.

Thirteen (13) arbiters from nine (9) national federations (BIH, CAN, CRC, ECU, ENG, GER, JAM, TTO, and USA) participated in the Seminar, and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
