The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 23/06/2025 to 25/06/2025 by the Chess Kenya Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA/IO Nsakanya, Chanda (ZAM), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar will be English.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

13.00- 14.00 Break
14.00- 17.00 Case Studies on Laws of Chess
Day 2(24th) 0900HRS to 1700HRS
09.00- 10.00 Anti Cheating Regulations and Guidelines for Arbiters
10.00- 11.15 Chess Clocks
11.15- 13.00 System of Games, tie breaks
13.00- 14.00 Break
14.00- 15.30 Regulations for the rating and the OTB titles
15.30- 17.00 Competition Rules and standards of chess equipment
Day 3(25th) 0900HRS to 1300HRS (excluding exam time)
09.00- 11.00 Swiss System and Pairing Rules
11.00- 12.00 Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters
12.15- 13.00 Any questions regarding the topics
13.00- 14.00 Break
14.00- 18.00 Examination
Total time: 18 hours (excluding examination)
