The 135th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 22/06/2023 to 26/06/2023 by the Asian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA/IO Abdulrahim, Mahdi (UAE), FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar will be Arabic.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.
09:00-15:00 daily Dubai time.
The subjects will include
a) Laws of Chess (including Rapid, Blitz, etc), 4 hours;
b) Tournament Rules , 2 hours;
c) System of Games, tie breaks. 2 hours;
d) Swiss system and Pairing rules, 2 hours;
e) Regulations for the rating and the over‐the‐board titles, 2 hours;
f) Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters, 1 hour;
g) Anti cheating guidelines for Arbiters 1 hour; Exam 4 hours
A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 13/07/2024 to 18/07/2024 in Bahrain-Manama, by the Bahrain Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA/IO Abdulrahim, Mahdi (UAE), FIDE Lecturer, and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Al Jamri, Maleeha (BRN).
The language of the Seminar will be Arabic with translation into English.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.
