ARB Calendar

The FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 9/5/2022 to 11/5/2022 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, by the Uzbekistan Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar will be International Chess Academy, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The Lecturer will be IA Vardapetyan, Ashot (ARM), FIDE Lecturer and assistant lecturers will be IA/IO Turdialiev, Husan (UZB).
The language of the Seminar will be Russian.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

The venue of the Seminar will be the Château d’Asnières, 6 rue de l’Eglise, 92600 ASNIERES SUR SEINE.

The Lecturer will be IA Escafre, Stephane (FRA), FIDE Lecturer.

The language of the Seminar will be French.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

Day 1 – Laws of Chess 1/2 emphasizing changes followed by Tournament Rules (3 hours).
Day 2 – Laws of chess 2/2 Online chess. Anti-Cheating, questions and answers (3 hours)
Day 3 – Rating Regulations – Titles players & arbiters (4 hours)
Day 4 – Swiss Systems, Tie Breaks, Pairing Procedures, (6 hours)
Day 5 – Disable players, Electronic Clocks, general review, Team event, Interaction with players, captains, officials and spectators (6 hours)
Day 6 – FIDE Competitions – basic English chess vocabulary (2 hours), Exam (4 hours) – debriefing (2 hours)
24h + Exam (4h) + debriefing
