FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Oppenau, GERMANY

seminar_logoFrom 11 to 14 November 2010 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Oppenau, Germany, by the German Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Hotel Wasserfall in Oppenau.

The lecturers were IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT) and IA Klaus Deventer (GER), Councilors of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and Assistant lecturer was IA Juergen Kohlstaedt (GER).

The lectures were in German language.

21 National Arbiters from Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland participated in the seminar.

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following fifteen (15) succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
