FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Tel Aviv, ISRAEL

seminar_logoFrom 5 to 8 December 2010 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Tel Aviv, Israel, by the Israeli Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Schevach-Mofet School, in the center of Tel Aviv.

The lecturer was IA Almog Burstein (ISR), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturers were IA Mordechai Shorek (ISR), IA Shlomo Kandelshine (ISR) and IA Abraham Dorner (ISR).

14 arbiters from Israel participated in the seminar.

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following twelve (12) succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
