FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Kabul, Afganistan (August 2019) – Report

From 16th to 19th August 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Kabul (Afganistan) by the ANCF with support of FIDE and Afganistan Chess Federation.

The venue of the Seminar was the Kabul Star Hotel in Kabul.

The Lecturer was IA Pahlevanzadeh, Mehrdad (IRI), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was FA Mohibi, Abasin (AFG).

The language of the Seminar was English with Persian translation.

Thirty-three (33) arbiters from Afganistan participated in the Seminar and twenty-nine (29) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

 

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
