FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Mumbai, India (October 2019) – Report
From 7th to 9th October 2019 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Mumbai, India, by the All India Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Organizing Committee of the 2019 World Youth Chess Championships, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Seminar was held parallel to the 2019 World Youth Chess Championships and the venue of the Seminar were Meeting Halls of the Savoy Suites Hotel and the Renaissance Hotel.
The Lecturer was IA Nikolopoulos, Panagiotis (GRE), FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Honorary Chairman and FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Gopakumar M S (IND), FIDE Fair Play Commission Member and FIDE Lecturer.
The language of the Seminar was English.
Thirty eight (38) arbiters from India participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
