FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Cairo, EGYPT

From 18 to 22 June 2011 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Cairo, Egypt, by the Egyptian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), Councilor of the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Hassan Khaled (EGY) and IA Mohamed Abdelhaleem (EGY)

The lectures were in Arabic language.

30 people (4 women and 26 men) from Egypt and Libya participated in the Seminar.

24 of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
