International Arbiter Workshop in Sochi, Russia – REPORT

An International Arbiters’ Workshop was held from 11th to 14th October 2019 in Sochi, Russia. This was the fourth event in the FIDE & CFR Pilot Project for Training and Certification of the International Arbiters.

The Organizer was the Russian Chess Federation.

The venue was the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina, in Sochi.

Nineteen (19) International Arbiters (5 women and 14 Men and among them 1 IA A’ Cat., 1 IA B’ Cat., 2 IA C’ Cat. and 15 IA D’ Cat.) from Russia participated in the Workshop.

The Lecturer was IA/IO Tkachev, Aleksander (RUS), FIDE Lecturer and Technical Director of the Russian Chess Federation and Guest Lecturer was IA/IO Tsypin, Vadim (CAN).

The language of the Seminar was Russian and English.
