FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Lusaka, ZAMBIA

From 13 to 16 December 2011 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Lusaka, Zambia, by the Chess Federation of Zambia, in cooperation with the Africa Chess Union and under auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the Lusaka Hotel, in Lusaka.

The lecturer was IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT), FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in English language.

Nineteen (19) Arbiters from Angola, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe participated in the Seminar.

Seventeen (17) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded the norm or the title of FIDE Arbiter (according to the art. 3.10 of the Regulations of the titles of Arbiters) and after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
