OBITUARY
The Arbiters’ Commission learnt the sudden passing away of Mikko Markkula, at the age of 64.
Mikko was a very active member of our chess community.
He was the Chairman of the Qualification Commission and a very experienced International Arbiter, officiated in many events.
His contribution to the chess matters was invaluable.
We will miss him very much.
We express our deep condolences to his family and to the Finnish Chess Federation.
