FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Sydney, AUSTRALIA

From 31 May to 3 June 2012 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Sydney, Australia, by the Oceania Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue was the Parramatta RSL Club, in Sydney.

The lecturer was IA Gary Bekker (AUS), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Charles Zworestine (AUS).

The lectures were in English language.

7 people from Australia (6 men and 1 woman) participated in the Seminar and in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm or the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
