FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) – Report
From 3rd to 8th May 2022, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, by the Ethiopian Chess Federation and African Chess Confederation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA/IO Pahlevanzadeh, Mehrdad (IRI), FIDE Lecturer and the Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Nugusse, Dejen Zelalem (ETH).
The language of the Seminar was English.
Ten (10) participants from Ethiopia participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
