FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Dubai (UAE) – Report
From 28th September to 2nd October 2023, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Dubai, by the UAE Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA/IO Abdulrahim, Mahdi (UAE), FIDE Lecturer, and the Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Alhammadi, Faisal (UAE).
The language of the Seminar was Arabic.
Twenty (20) arbiters from four (4) federations (EGY, LBN, SYR, and UAE) participated in the Seminar and nineteen (19) participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
