FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Victoria Falls (ZIM) – Report
From 26th to 28th April 2024, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Victoria Falls, by the Vic Falls Sports Academy and Zimbabwe Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA van den Bergh, Gunther (RSA), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA/IO Nsakanya, Chanda (ZAM), Lecturer Training Program.
The language of the Seminar was English.
Twenty two (22) arbiters from 4 (four) federations (MAW, MOZ, ZAM, and ZIM) participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and they will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Council:
