FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Mandalay, MYANMAR

From 29 October to 4 November a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Mandalay, Myanmar by the Myanmar Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Seminar was organized in conjunction with the 7th Asian Seniors Chess Championships 2016 and the venue of the Seminar was the Hazel Hotel in Mandalay, Myanmar.

The Lecturer was IA Bob Gibbons (NZL), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Peter Long (MYA).

The language of the seminar was English.

Thirteen (13) Arbiters from three (3) Federations (Myanmar, Brunei and New Zealand) participated in the Seminar.

All of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
