FIDE Arbiters  Seminar-Harare ZIMBABWE 2017-4

From 22 to 25 August 2017 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Harare, Zimbabwe, by the Zimbabwe Chess Federation, in cooperation with the African Chess Confederation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Hassan Khaled (EGY), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Gunther Van den Bergh (RSA).

The lectures were in English language.

Thirty two (32) people from six federations (Zimbabwe, Zambia, Lesotho, Uganda, Kenya and Seychelles) participated in the Seminar.

Thirty one (31) of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures and the following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of the FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
