The Arbiters' Commission has the ambition to make it an eBook and is pleased to invite all arbiters, players, FIDE commission members, Federations, organizers to send us their feedback, comments, proposals to continue improving the Arbiters' Manual.

Please provide your input and wishes to IA Shohreh Bayat, Councilor of the FIDE Arbiters' commission in charge of the Arbiters' Manual, using the online survey below:

Hosts - IA Laurent Freyd, Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission, IA Nebojsa Baralic, Secretary of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and IA Jirina Prokopova, Member of the FIDE Arbiters' commission in charge of titles

Description - the hosts will share about best practices in the preparation of arbiters' title applications, to help federations and arbiters increase their applications approved at first try.
 
During the conference, you will find out:
- how to fill in and validate an arbiter's norm
- how to select norms for a valid application
- how to check data related to an application

71st internet ecu may2020 pic0174th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held from 3rd to 7th May 2020.
It was organized by the European Chess Union, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Prokopova, Jirina (CZE), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IA Bailleul, Geert (BEL). Technical Organizer was IA Logothetis, Sotiris (GRE).
The Language of the Seminar was in English.
Forty-one (41) participants are registered from twenty-six (26) different federations attend the seminar and thirty-five (35) participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

79th INTERNET based FIDE ARBITERS' SEMINAR (ENG)

seminar logoFIDE Arbiters` Seminar which should have been organized in Hull, England (19-21/06/2020) will be organized as the Internet Seminar.
The 79th Internet based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar (ENG) has been organized for the weekends of 20th and 21st June 2020 and 27th and 28th June 2020, hosted by the England Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer will be IA/IO Barnes, Lara A.L. (ENG), FIDE Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer will be IA Atkinson, Alan (ENG).
The language of the Seminar will be English.
The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

seminar logo71st Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was held from 17th to 24th March 2020.
It was organized by the Confederation chess of America, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Santiago Garcia Ramos (MEX), FIDE Lecturer. Technical Organizer was IA Vega Fernandez, Jorge (GUA).
The Language of the Seminar was in Spanish.
Thirty (30) participants are registered from seventeen (17) different federations attend the seminar and twenty-four (24) participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
